Our Story

I have one reason, and one reason only for being here. I got tired of breaking, soaking, and ruining my things .

Over the years, I've spent a lot of time adventuring around Canada and other parts of the world, trying to go on as many adventures as possible. These adventures brought me to the tops of mountains, through the hearts of bustling cities, into the middle of the ocean, and to the airport, time, after time, after time. Two things stayed consistent throughout all my travels;

The first; I travelled pretty light. I brought only the essentials. That being my photo, video and audio equipment, my trusty laptop, my travel log and maybe a change of clothes if i had room. Pics or it didn't happen, right? Regardless, as you can imagine, that stuff wasn't cheap, and I wasn't rich...

The second consistency was...constantly replacing broken, soaked or stolen stuff. Remember how I said I wasn't rich? Now obviously there were accidents, like drops, slips, trips, and regular wear and tear. But that accounted for only a small portion of my problems. 

The main culprit for all the damage? Transportation. My worn down, flimsy travel backpack just wasn't doing the trick. Just wearing it in the rain ensured my drone would get fried. Setting it down gently would somehow break a gimbal motor. And don"t even get me started on how easy of a target I was for a pickpocket (you get distracted while filming, okay?).

Fast forward a bit; I was somehow more poor than before, and decided it was time to invest in a nice backpack. I did tons of shopping around online and I found tons of backpacks that were:

Too expensive.

Not waterproof.

Lacking theft protection.

Not durable enough. 

Lacking space.

Nothing ticked all the boxes that I was searching for. The easiest solution? 

Why don't I just make one.

And that's how we wound up here. Now we're trying to bring this humble little hardshell backpack to all of you guys. And who knows, maybe, just maybe, we'll have more fun, adventure proof gear to show you guys soon!
